Standing With Moms: The Mother Up Guaranteed Income Pilot tells the story of our Mother Up guaranteed income pilot. The Mother Up pilot is a guaranteed income pilot in Washington DC, run by Mother’s Outreach Network. Recruitment for the pilot’s first cohort started in December of 2022 and has concluded with the launch of the first group of participants in April of 2023. Cash assistance, with no strings attached, will be provided to these mothers for three years. Phases 2 and 3 will ensue in the latter part of 2023.
